winter wonderland...without the "wonder" schtick.

how did i ever trick myself into believing that moving back to canada was OK?

the first cold day, i was traumatized. i think it only went down to -5, but it still wasn't right. not at all! how do people live in this climate?

the second, third, and fourth, i thought, ok. there isn't too much snow. it's kind of chilly, but totally tolerable. everything's gonna be ok.

last night, i trekked across the arctic circle, i.e. ossington, while walking back from joel's and i thought i was going to die. maybe it was the combination of blowing snow, black ice and and the fact yes, north face designed their hoods so my face is protected, but dammit i can't SEE, but this isn't right. no no no.

You came back to Cold Mountain.

And by the by, I'm on the look out for "jalousie" for you.

Cold Mountain is my home-away-from-home, indeed. I'd prefer a house in the Hamptons in July, to be honest...why is it so cold??

Thank you for keeping an eye out for the mag...I'm pretty sure it's quarterly? If that makes any difference.

Let me know what you'd like! Let's swap.
